Come Fly with Me!

Lovely to see you all today, and as I start writing this post I am looking out on my Mum's lovely English garden. I will share a few photos of the garden later but  for now I would like to let you join me on the start of my travels.
From home in Dorrigo, NSW, we drove to Coffs Harbour. I then flew  to Sydney, and from there to Dubai, with a three hour stopover then on to Birmingham UK, and home by car to Lincolnshire. Probably 36 hours door to door!

Leaving the mid north coast behind and flying south
with the Great Dividing Range to the west.

Clouds reflected in a lake or was it an inlet?  My geography is not very good!

I do know where this one is though!!  Yes that bridge is a bit of a giveaway.....
and do I spot an opera house down there?

From Sydney, I changed planes in Dubai and this is the fantastic airport.

Lunch was Stewed Beef in a Creamy Mushroom Sauce with  Fried Potato Wedges and Seasonal Vegetables.
Mind you , that was hot on the heels of a delicious Traditional Arabian Morning Mezze for brekkie, and I was full!

-----------------------------------------------------

And now as promised here are a few photos from Mum's garden

Appropriate planting for this Jubilee Year!

Will share some more soon, though for now, my dongle has just about run out of oomph, and so have I!!  So I will say cheerio for now, take care and I will catch up again very soon:)

Where I am now, it takes about an hour to upload one photo, so I will give it a miss for a while! Hope all is well with you and I look forward to sharing more soon. Bye for now Jane:)
