I think I could go just a bit further out....don't you? |
I'll just go take a look |
Oh now I'm not so sure... |
And sometimes we don't....
In fact I wish I'd never come this far |
I reckon I'll just quietly head back to where I was |
I never really wanted to go there anyway |
But either way it's OK !
I think we all feel a bit like this sulphur crested cockatoo
who came for a visit today.
Sometimes we feel like venturing forth,
& sometimes we'd just rather stay safe.
Oh yes, I can be brave and shy at the same time! Which can cause quite the dilemma! I know just how the cockatoo feels!
ReplyDeleteLOL Deb! I think we all do don't we! Thanks for dropping by from California. Cheers Jane
ReplyDeleteHahaha!! That's a great sequence, and SO applicable to me!! But I can't help feeling just a little bit pleased that this 'chainsaw of the sky' got his comeuppance!!!
ReplyDeleteLove that name, chainsaw of the sky, haven't heard it before! Applicable to all of us I think but you seem pretty brave to me, all that travelling you do :) Thanks so much for leaving a comment :)
DeleteIt is amazing to me to see a Sulpher Crested Cockatoo in someones back yard. I do know they are abudant there in their native land, still it is amazing.
ReplyDeleteYes, I know when I first came to Australia from England, Willow, I couldn't believe my eyes either! All the brightly coloured parrots. I haven't forgotten about the black cockatoo post either :))
