Ready to get back in the car and head east towards home? Good, so am I !
For those of you who missed the journey so far check it out here
The hint I gave as to what we would be seeing was simply animals, cattle, sheep & horses of course.
Quick or you'll miss them....
These roos are ready to jump the fence for greener pastures!
Stopping for a photo break beside the road where a side road joins ours.
It's not as bad as it looks! The cattle truck waits for the gravel truck to pass...phew!
Drama averted, and oh what a view. Going on 5.45pm, the light is glorious.
This journey is taking longer than I thought....
so I think we will have to carry on to a Part Three.
Glad to have you along so far, and hope you'll come back for hopefully the last leg next week.
See you then!
Bye for now
What a beautiful journey. The golden evening light is indeed glorious.
ReplyDeleteI'm very happy it will take longer!
Thank you so much Amélie! Always lovely to have your company.
DeleteIndeed the last picture has a wonderful view but according to my husband I'm a bit crazy because I'm fond of seeing cattle, sheep and horses, never get enough of this kind of country life. In this case there were even kangaroos.......so interesting.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could have got a bit closer to the kangaroos for you Janneke; they were so quick! And you're not crazy at all loving animals.
DeleteHello Jane,
ReplyDeleteI loved this journey with you and kangaroos are always a joy to see.
Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to our next journey with you
Helen xx
It will be a pleasure to have your company the rest of the way Helen x
DeleteJumping roos, stunning views, big country - I'm so glad you're up and running again and stretching my world! Glorious photos - wish they were bigger so I could take in all the detail! Keep travelling!
ReplyDeleteInteresting you say that about photos being bigger...I've been wondering if the collages were helpful or a bit small. Maybe I'll stick to straight photos...only trouble is I want to show so many & thought collages could be a way of doing that. Don't like posts that go on and on. Short attention span I guess!!
DeleteI am so enjoying your journey. The scenery is so very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear it. It is lovely around there, quite different to where we are, but only a short distance inland.
DeleteGlorious series of captures! Thank you so much for sharing. :)
ReplyDeleteHello Linda , nice to meet you and so glad you enjoyed the photos of our lovely region of NSW.
DeleteI enjoyed these pictures as much as the last one. Beautiful scenery.
ReplyDeleteWell I'm really glad you enjoyed it Dawn.
DeleteI looked at your photos from this and older posts – they are stunning. I follow a couple of other New Zealand blogs and from the look of their photos it looks like you cannot take a bad picture in New Zealand as the whole country is picturesque.
ReplyDeleteThat's a very nice thing to say! New Zealand is indeed a glorious place; I see you are an avid traveler, I wonder if you've been there? The New England area of Australia where my day trip has taken me is very similar to parts of NZ, possibly around Christchurch I think. I met my husband there so it is dear to my heart! Thanks for dropping by.
DeleteOh be still my beating heart - such a beautiful landscape - great photos - I bet it's nice to be home though.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're enjoying the journey Elaine ~ it is lovely to go travelling but it's always nice to get home too, as you say.
DeleteI am enjoying this journey. Your photos are fun. I especially loved seeing the Roos about to jump over the fence. Great looking scenery too.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear you're enjoying the trip Denise, and the roos too!
DeleteThanks for taking us on the road with you, Jane, I really am enjoying the scenery.
