~ Time for a Change of Direction ~

That's right....

There's no easy way to say this so I'll just blurt it out.
I'm taking a break from my Potato Jewellery for a while.

There, I said it!!

Life has thrown a whole lot of other things my way recently and something has to give. Spuds are very generous souls, and so they put their hands up to say, "We'll take a back seat for a while Jane, while you do whatever else you have to.  We'll be around when you feel like coming back to us."  OK ~  well thank you my potato partners.  You have helped make my decision a lot easier.

However, don't think for a minute that you will get rid of me that easily!  I've got photos to share that are just jumping out of their seats, shouting "Choose me, choose me!!"

So that's what I'll be doing, sharing photos and thoughts along the way.  Would love you to pop by when you can and join me.

I'm sure you've found at some stage that you can't keep those juggling balls up in the air all of the time.  How have you coped with this dilemma?  Would love you to share your ideas for making life's journey a bit smoother.

  1. One less ball to juggle sounds good (unless you're juggling twenty...) Wishing you all the best & hope your life becomes much more manageable :) xx

    1. Thank you so much Julie. I really appreciate your kind words and you always know how to get me moving when I become paralyzed. Just do it!! Maybe with a bit less I'll be just doing it a bit faster. Will be still dropping by your wonderful blog though, you can be sure of that X

  2. I am also overwhelmed with so many things I am doing. I tend to overdo and get ill. A good decision. Good luck!

  3. I listen to my inner voice, write down lists of pro and contra - very helpful - and then I decide. If I can't I'll throw a coin - and if the "result" doesn't please me I know that this item won't go.
It's kind that your partners give you a break - you can come back, and that's always very reassuring, I think. Good luck!

Life is so much more than spuds, LOL. I am looking forward to your new posts and seeing into more of what makes Jane tick . . . life is full of so many possibilities and we all have so many different things that we enjoy during our journey. Some of the things that I love about your blog is your beautiful photograph.
    Relax & Enjoy!
    Connie :)

    1. Dear Connie, I must have deleted your comment instead of publishing it. Oh dear silly me. So sorry.
I always know I can count on you to make me feel good. Thank you as always dear friend. Jane :))

  5. I'm happy to see your new post Jane and I hope you can enjoy break doing things you love and staying centered. Life is much too busy - I just posted similar thoughts - I was a bit melancholy and, like you, have been juggling too many balls but getting nothing completed.

My recent trip to Japan and Russia was awesome - now I'm off to California/Oregon/Washington - and will be meeting up with some delightful friends who invited me to stay in their beautiful home in Brisbane in 2011 - they are visiting Calif. so I must go see them!

Stay well, enjoy time away from 'the spuds'.
    Hugs - May

    1. Oh Mary, how lovely to see you and hear that you are thinking just the same way. I don't think we are alone either do you? Everything goes at such a fast pace these days for some reason. I am off to check out your recent Japan/Russia trip. Take it easy Jane :)
