Garden in the Mist

Hello there, I'm so glad you could take a few moments to join me for a  peek into my garden in the mist.  The place was all damp and dewy and cloudy and misty and not a breath of wind.  The birds were flitting around with excitement ......come on, let's tiptoe over the rain drenched lawn and see what we can see....

Agapanthus bud enjoying a drink!

Do you spot a little visitor?

Yep, that's him, Mr Superb Fairy Wren!

And enjoying the scenery

Just checking the time of day

Agapanthus again:)
Oh you darling thing!

Woops!!!

You never know what you are going to find in the garden do you?
  What have you found recently??

  2. Dear Jane,
what a beauty to look at! We have another sight now - barren trees, some few last flowers on the balcony, weather forecast speaking of snow at the week-end. Well - so your post is a lovely reminder of things that will come again, in a while. (I love agapanthus - in Bavaria it looked so beautiful in front of yellow painted castles in the sun!

Bavaria is a beautiful place indeed, and I can just imagine the blue and yellow together, just gorgeous. Thank you for telling us about it.

    1. Thanks Tess, I have to admit that I am getting quite good at taking camera angles that avoid the weeds! But let's face it, our blue wren family wouldn't know the difference or care anyway. They are very easy going friends!

    1. Silky Oaks are beautiful aren't they Vickie? This winter our native orchids hardly flowered at all, but other years they are covered in blooms. I guess it all depends on the weather.

    1. Hi Mar! We have had all weathers here since Mum arrived, going from extremely dry, to wet, to boiling hot, and now thankfully pretty average sort of warmy slightly wetty summer weather. Keep warm and dry over there, and the birdies too:)
