My day, clouds, sunshine and showers.

Just like any other really.  Our days are full of different emotions and this one was just that way. Clouds, sunshine and showers.

How has your day been?  Just like any other, or a little bit special?  Please share, I'd love to know!!

  1. you certainly have the scenic wonderland happening up there. I remember from many years ago travel to Dorrigo; wonderful countryside. I know you've had a lot of rain of late too; will be beautifully GREEN. Enjoy your little peace of heaven

    1. Thanks Carole, sometimes it does us good to be reminded that it actually is a wonderland. Thank you for doing that:) You are right, it certainly is green, and boggy!!

  2. Hi Jane. Here in la Correze, France the snow has finally almost melted but unfortunately we now have rain! The air is warmer and it finally feels like spring is on its way. The disappearing snow has revealed flower shoots and I'm excited to think that there'll soon be colour in the garden once again. Looking forward to warmth, gardening and BBQ's! x Katherine

    1. Glad the sun's shining with you today Tess! Yes it is good to see what's coming but I always seem to push my luck and hang out the washing even when there's a black cloud coming! I must be a bit optimistic.

  7. Hi Jane, your photos are as beautiful as always. I'm always so surprised at the green rolling hills. It seems that the travel guides always show the dessert, the red rocks and the ocean with surfers and sailboats. Before blogging I never knew that you had this beautiful green side to your country. It looks very similar to your rolling green hills of Yorkshire, that you photographed on your visit to see your Mum.
Thanks for sharing this with us . . . your photos are very calming to the soul.
    Love, Connie :)

    1. Thanks as always Connie, for your enthusiastic interest in people:) You are right that green can be a surprise for those who don't know Australia. There are a lot of similarities with England and also Ireland, which I write about in my latest post on St.Patrick's Day. Have a great weekend in your lovely cottage. Bye for now, Jane:)

  8. Stunning photos Jane, the ones at the top remind me of a child's drawing! Really love your earlier Lake District ones too - one of my favourite places, but a looong way from home here in Cornwall!!! x
