Cats make lovely pets but they do not go well with little birds do they? However I am sure there are two more doves flying around San Diego now:) Cheers JaneJanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02476181295259115670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8870259877936102261.post-26557855143832326142013-02-23T14:20:52.262+11:002013-02-23T14:20:52.262+11:00Hi Jane! How are you?
This is so wonderful...it reminds me of last year, when we rented a little place in San Diego, and there was a dove nest right by the door, in a flower pot. We did not want to scare her, so we had to crawl in and out...I have no idea if those 2 eggs turned into birds though.
I have birdhouses in the backyard, but I also have cats...I guess they are smart enough to not rent my birdhouses!
Ziláhttp://thistleandfern.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8870259877936102261.post-73522445599571779962013-02-19T21:35:58.851+11:002013-02-19T21:35:58.851+11:00Thanks so much Steve! And, as we can see on your beautiful photos: real life is so fascinating that one sometimes don't find the time to post about it. And then the result - from egg to feeded swallows - is stunning!
